In this century communication is everything and devices make it easier for us as educators to keep parents and individuals connected.
upon reading this book, it provides you with ideas on how to stay connected . example using twitter , Facebook, instagram etc.
having people involved in the day to day running of the school and activities in the classroom will definitely produce great results for the student and the community at large

From reading the title of the book I felt that it was one that would have been quite interesting to me and also a book in which I could use the information and practice whatever I grasped in the classroom.
From reading this book , I have already envisioned ways that I could go about and implement change in my classroom. I feel a level of confidence that the All hands on Deck tools for connecting educators, parents and communities will leave a positive impact in my classroom.
Based on what I read I think the best approach is either through whatsApp or Facebook since these are the two most popular mediums used in my area.
getting parents involved. example keeping them informed when students will be assessed and also a reminder to them of students take home assignments will ensure that students assignments are completed and handed in on time. reminders of test and quiz will also help with improving grades.
